Cooking workshop: Dutch Dishes in Esther’s Cookery

Dutch Dishes:  Cooking workshops at Esther’s Cookery during the summer holidays

In the heart of the Pijp, Amsterdam, within walking distance from the famous Albert Cuyp market and many  more enjoyable attractions you can find the first and only vegetarian cooking studio. In my kitchen we will prepare a complete meal with fresh and sustainable products mostly from my vegetable garden. We will explore new or not frequently used vegetables, spices, herbs and fruits

There’s much more to Dutch food than raw herring and smashed potatoes. Rediscover the kitchen and your love for food in ways that will inspire you for years to come.

With my Dutch Jewish background, many years of traveling the world  I bring an extra dimension to the kitchen combining Dutch, Jewish,  Middle Eastern and vegetarian recipes. After each workshop all participants enjoy the meal they prepared or when the group is no larger than 10 people the group can eat as we go in our beautiful and open kitchen.

We will show you that cooking doesn’t have to be time consuming or difficult… join us and be inspired.

Vegetarian Cooking Esther’s Cookery
During a cooking workshop in Esther’s Cookery we prepare a complete meal with fresh and sustainable products. Vegetables, spices, herbs and fruits are the focus of Esther’s Cookery. All food used at Esther’s Cookery is halal, kosher and no meat is used in Esther’s Cookery kitchen. I speak Dutch, English and Hebrew.

During this special workshop we will  start the workshops with Dutch famous apple pie and visit the vibrant Albert Cuypmarkt after the visit we will cook a complete meal using seasonal vegetables, herbs and fruits.

Food allergies or intolerances are no issue for us, we cook without gluten, without lactose, nuts and much more. We do need to know in advance and in case of many allergies we might need to charge for the use of specialised ingredients.
